A heavy-bodied and deeply complex selection from the Aceh region of Sumatra. Produced by the Koperasi Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan (KBQB) cooperative, this coffee is grown at altitudes between 1100 and 1600 meters in the fertile soils of Takengon. It is processed using the traditional Giling Basah, or wet-hulling method, which gives Sumatran coffee its signature intensity and unique physical appearance.
This cup is defined by its remarkable syrupy body and a long, lingering finish. You will find a rich foundation of dark chocolate and earthy undertones, complemented by the sweetness of dried fruit and a balanced medium acidity.
